Even in the midst of a shop full of the latest Treks, GTs, Giants, Bianchis, as well as a few spectacular leftover Fondriest frames, there was one bike that captured my imagination: the Mapei Colnago C40.
This is an ultra rare amazing 2004 Colnago C-40, 58cm* (with a 56.3cm top tube, colnago sizing fits more like 56/57cm frame) B-Stay, HP (high power) model, RB23, Rabobank Edition (limited) MSRP $5500 frame, premium star fork, post, and stem, paint $500 extra. My indoctrination started in earnest once I found myself employed in a bike shop. This bike is still hanging on the wall!
